Obituary of Floris Dawson

Dawson, Floris, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 in her 91^sr year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Lionel (2012).  Loving mother of Brenda, John (Penny) and Paul.  Cherished Grandmother of Tyler (Leanne), Bradley and Jeffrey.  Proud Great Grandmother of Lauren, Audrey and Leo.  Predeceased by her brothers Arthur and his wife Keitha and Clair.  Floris will be missed by sister in law Romalda, and nephews Brian, Bob and John, nieces Carol and Kim.  Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, (Markham Road) Markham on Wednesday, April 24 from 2:00 to 4:00.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 11:00 am, 20 Union Street, Unionville.  Internment to follow at Bethesda Lutheran Cemetery on Kennedy Road in Unionville.  Reception to follow at Bethesda Lutheran Church.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Bethesda Lutheran Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
